Question 12

What should I do if I forget my phone in the taxi?

Accepted Answer

It Happens More Often Than You Think

You get out of the taxi, close the door and walk inside.

A few minutes later, you reach into your jacket pocket.

Where is my phone?

You look on the table. Nothing.

In your bag. Nothing.

Then it hits you…

“I left it in the taxi.”

No phone means no number for the driver. No WhatsApp. And maybe your phone was even on silent.

It happens more often than you think. Especially after a long night, after a ride from the station, or when you get out of the taxi carrying several things.

The first thing you should do?

Stay calm.

If you booked your ride through DeelTaxi, we can find the trip details and try to contact the driver. In many cases, the phone is still simply sitting on the back seat.

And sometimes, something funny happens.

The customer calls from a friend’s phone and says:

“I think my whole life is still in your taxi.” 😄

Luckily, the phone usually finds its way back to its owner.

Because a taxi doesn’t just take you home. Sometimes, it brings back the things you forgot too.

Question 13

What is the Meet & Greet service?

Accepted Answer

With Meet & Greet, your driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a name sign. Perfect if you are unfamiliar with the airport or want VIP treatment.

Question 14

How much does a taxi cost to airports like Schiphol or Eindhoven Airport?

Accepted Answer

Airport transfer fares depend on your pickup location. By booking online at least 24 hours in advance, you benefit from our best early-bird rates.
